Current Opening:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). 
Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Analyse membership data, attendance records and demographic information to identify trends and patterns to inform strategic procurement decisions for the business growth.
- Negotiate and execute business expansion plans, such as opening new branches, in compliance with current franchise agreement. 
- Review and negotiate lease agreements and insurance contracts while adhering to budgetary guidelines and business policies.
- Generate reports on membership growth, retention rates and revenue projections.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors in the fitness industry.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with equipment, supplements, and beverage suppliers, ensuring alignment with legal and company requirements.
- Develop and implement systems for organising member information, scheduling classes and managing bookings.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of member data in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Plan and execute community events, fitness challenges and promotional campaigns in line with procurement strategies and budget, to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Monitor social media channels and online forums to gauge community sentiment and address any concerns or feedback to management and suppliers.
- Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting for the gym, developing and implementing effective procurement strategies aligned with our company goals and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and profitability metrics to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least a Bachelor degree in a related field. 
- A minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in conducting market analysis and research.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to establish favourable terms with suppliers.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Proficient in developing and managing procurement budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Understanding of fitness industry trends and supplier landscape.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
