Job Description - Project Administrator - Room for Advancement

We are desiring to recruit a dedicated Project Administrator to join our elite team at Ivory Group in Liverpool, Sydney NSW.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
  
Join a team of industry professional in a Western Sydney local Council as a Project Administrator.  Initial 6 month contract, 35 hours per week with flexible working arrangements including working from home, on-going training and development provided. 

  
ABOUT THE POSITION
  
As a Project Administrator, you will support the Major Projects team by handling key administrative tasks to ensure project success. You will manage documentation, track budgets, prepare reports, and analyse performance. Additionally, you will communicate with contractors and suppliers to secure necessary resources and ensure regulatory compliance for quality assurance. Your efforts will help keep projects on track and ensure timely completion.
 
 
DUTIES
  • Track project budget and monitor project resources
  • Ensure the project team adhere to compliance standards
  • Prepare project reports and payment schedules 
  • Organise meetings to review progress, create work schedules, and assign tasks
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience as a project administrator or related role 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Understanding of Local Government, Council's operations and relevant legislation is desirable
