Project Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Project coordinator. Located in Eagle Farm, this office-based position plays a critical role coordinating the installation of Big A** Fans while clearly communicating with all stakeholders on the timelines and activities of the installation. The ideal candidate will be familiar working with electrical contractors, have great time management skills with the ability to multi-task between projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinates all aspects of Install jobs by coordinating activities among internal and external departments including Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Fields Service Technicians, Structural Engineers, Fabricators and sub-contractors for the scheduling of equipment and resources
•  Maintains installation policies and procedures, checks paperwork for accuracy and completeness to ensure successful execution of Work orders and project close out
• Coordinate, organize and submit project documentation as required. Including but not limited to installation drawings, PE endorsements, Risk Assessments, Project Method Statements etc.
• Coordinates with Customers on install jobs issues (i.e. date, time, verification of sales orders for accuracy, and other information as needed)
• Negotiates and authorizes project change orders and addendums
•  Generate installation schedules, progress reports and exception reports to accurately monitor progress of projects ensuring all timeframe and financial objectives are being met.
• Coordinate progress of projects from start to finish and resolve all related problems.
• Establish and maintain customer contact to discuss billing or service concerns or changes
• Coordinate the cost estimation process

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with electrical contractors (preferred but not essential)
• Be a strong communicator both written and verbally
• Have the ability to solve problems and remain calm under pressure
• Be able to learn and understand technical concepts
