ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to work within our skilled Projects Delivery Team with work based across the Pilbara FIFO from Perth. Our scope of works are currently Earthworks, Rehabilitation, NPI and Civil Construction with multiple projects commencing and others in the pipeline. The initial project you would be involved in would require extensive NPI experience, in the middle of a long term project.

Our NPI Project Values are ranging from $1m-$5m, working  on Tier 1 Iron Ore Mine Sites. This role is an initial 6 month Contract; however we will consider Permananet position for the right person.

DUTIES:
  • Reporting to our experienced Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Project(s) on site
  • Providing technical advice to relevant personnel, and where necessary obtaining information from the Project Manager
  • Continuous monitoring of the program throughout the life of the project, ensuring milestones are completed on time
  • Identifying and summarising technical information from specifications and drawings
  • Above standard ability to liaise with the Client, Subcontractors and company personnel on site to ensure project success
  • Ensuring safety and quality compliance paperwork is up to date 
  • Ensuring Project P&L is up to date
  • Contracts administration and procurement experience
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Formal Project Management or Building qualifications;
  • or a demonstratable 3-5 years experience as a senior supervisor onsite, coordinating  internal trades and sub contractors
  • 5-7 years overall experience in the building and civil construction industry (on mine-sites) with a solid understanding of Structures and Civil Construction
  • Construction Trade preferably Carpentry
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • MS Office Suite experience (Microsoft Excel & Project)
  • Project Management Program knowledge such as Procore, Dashpivot, MYOSH
  • White Card
  • RTIO Inductions (Advantage)
