Project Delivery Manager - Application Delivery - Growth-Minded Organization

• The initial contract will run up to December 30, 2024 with a likely 6-12 month extension.
• The role is mostly WFH (1 day per week in office - can work out of the Haymarket, Parramatta, Central Coast or regional offices - you must be based in NSW)
• Each project ranging from $10 mil to $20 mil in budget.

Working for a large NSW Government Department, we are looking for an Application Development focused Project Manager to manage multiple delivery streams across the bespoke development and delivery of a complex application.
The applications are focused around remuneration and levy calculations and utilise a number of different toolsets including SAP Finance and HR, MuleSoft integration and Salesforce CRM Service cloud. 
  
As a senior project delivery manager, you will come with extensive experience in the delivery of applications development projects. You will have delivered multiple large and complex software application development and integration projects, ideally within NSW government environment.  

Skills Required:

• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
• Experience as a senior delivery project manager focused on application development, integration and delivery in large complex environments;
• Demonstrated understanding of Software Development/Delivery Lifecycle SDLC;
• Detailed experience in managing & coordinating multiple application streams, multi business streams and multi vendor streams;
• We are looking for people who have delivered large scale applications in an enterprise environment
• Experience managing budgets of $10 to $20 mil and teams of up to 50 people throughout complex software application delivery;
• Exceptional project governance experience, project risk management, change management, budget and people management skills;
• Demonstrated experience within Waterfall and Agile environments (Hybrid);
• Certified practitioner with one of mainstream project management methodologies i.e. Prince2 (preferred) PMBOK or similar;
• Demonstrated experience in structuring and coordination of multiple streams in a large complex application delivery;

Highly desirable but not essential experience:

• Experience within NSW government in particular around government procurement policies guidelines and procedures;
• Experience with delivery of large & complex CRM projects (ideally Salesforce or similar)
• Experience in delivery of large, complex ERP projects (i.e. SAP HR, FICO)
• Experience in understanding remuneration, levy calculations , leave loading entitlement applications delivery;
