Project Delivery Site Engineer

12-month contract with view to extend

Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing a Project Delivery Site Engineer, essentially to Project manage the delivery component of state network projects and to be responsible for looking after sub-contractors as well as direct delivery work force that works for the organsation.

Key duties and skills required:

• The projects are Road work projects , typical road construction a range of smaller projects or larger ones during this time.
• Key experience and background are Direct Project Management, leadership experience and supervising a team or crew .
• Road infrastructure experience is ideal, but happy to see Project managers, Project engineers from a construction / engineering perspective, civil infrastructure etc, direct delivery component is important.
• Also financial reporting, standard project management practices, forecasting , scheduling, MS project as a tool etc.

• Transportation / work vehicle is available to use during work hours (to and from work sites) .
• Hold Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in Project Management or Engineering discipline, and/or demonstrated experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Developed high level communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with developed client relationship and negotiation skills for the capacity to influence stakeholders.
