Project Engineer

ABOUT THE COMPANY.

My client is a Civil Contractor that has delivered some of Australia's most iconic infrastructure upgrades. Based on the east coast of Australia, they specialise in Roadworks, earthworks and utility projects valued up to $100m in value. After successfully securing multiple projects over the past 2 years, they are now looking at growing their team in Canberra by hiring an experienced Project Engineer to join them working on a challenging yet rewarding Transport project. 

ABOUT THE POSITION.


As a Project Engineer, you will be reporting to the Project Manager assisting in the delivery of the project working alongside Site Engineers and Supervisors. DUTIES.

Your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Quality assurance
• Cost control
• Subcontractor liaison
• Client liaison
• Contract variations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience working on Transport projects is a must
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of QA and costing
