The Opportunity: 

Hall Contracting are now looking now looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Darwin. Hall Contracting is an equal opportunity employer. Key responsibilities:

• Project delivery according to budget, program and specific project objectives.
• Working with the Site Foreman and managing site activities.
• Subcontractor coordination and management.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports (addressing the performance of the section, areas of concern and opportunities).
• Assisting in claims, variations in time and further contractual obligations.
• Cost control incl. cost to date tracking and cost to complete forecast.
• Ensuring all project Quality Assurance, OH&S and Environmental requirements are documented and implemented.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (essential).
• Located in Darwin. 
• Previous experience in marine construction, reclamation projects or dredging projects will be highly regarded.
• Prior experience in estimating and managing projects.  
• Highly knowledgeable of relevant construction methodologies and standards.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive working approach.
• Strong commitment to safety and upholding company ethics and values.
