Project Engineer - Low Voltage

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers delivering products and solutions across a variety of market segments in ANZ including but not limited to Data Centres, Rail, Mining, Healthcare, Infrastructure and Utilities.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\"Provide high quality, efficient support to the PMO team to deliver customer projects on time and on budget, as well as supporting the development and maintenance of the PQ product portfolio. \nTo provide the ongoing technical expertise to facilitate client works.\" \n\n\"\u2022 Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects \n\u2022 Preparation of project drawings, SLDs to customers as required \n\u2022 Working with internal resources to have project related technical submittals submitted and approved by client \n\u2022 Creation of project Bill of Materials through SAP and liaison with procurement \n\u2022 Establish testing plans (ITP/ITS) and oversee UPS project Factory and Site commissioning and testing \n\u2022 Ensure UPS project onsite Delivery, installation, commissioning and testing completed as per site requirements \n\u2022 Ensure designs/projects comply with relevant electrical and safety requirements and customer specifications \n\u2022 Lead the solutions to all technical related questions or inquiries from client \n\u2022 Ensure all project work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner, with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction \n\u2022 Provide regular project or progress report updates to both Eaton and clients \n\u2022 Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support \n\u2022 Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions \n\u2022 Work in a team environment \n\u2022 Comply with the company\u2019s policies and procedures \n\u2022 Be aware of the company\u0027s and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Eaton\u2019s Quality Management System and Eaton Ethical standards \n\u2022 Woking with internal or external resources to have all technical documents submitted for project closings, such as AS_BULT drawings, Testing reports \u0026 OM\u0026M etc.. \n\u2022 Commitment to the quality, safety and environment and proactively reporting any risks and issues \n\u2022 Understanding the company mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, safety and environment management system \n\" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nTertiary qualification in Electrical /Electrconic Engineering \n3+ years experience in delivery project engineering in electrical industry, UPS Experience - Preffered\"\n\n## Skills:\n\n\"\u2022 Computer literate \u2013 Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word - required; AutoCAD experience - preferred (3D highly regarded) \n\u2022 Sound technical knowledge of project systems, tools, and methodologies e.g., SAP, MS Project\" \n\"\u2022 Hold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders \n\u2022 Strong ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies, and to adapt to changes in sequences and timelines. \n\u2022 Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills\"\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
