We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead our Project Engineering team and ensure outstanding technical and operational support to customers globally. This role is responsible for project design and commissioning, continuous improvement of engineering processes, people leadership, and cross-functional support across the business.
You will play a key role in transforming the project engineering function to improve efficiency, quality, and the overall customer experience.
Lead and manage the Project Engineering team to deliver high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused project outcomes across global deployments.
Oversee project engineering activities including system design, documentation, hardware integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
Act as the technical escalation point for complex or high-risk engineering issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Drive continuous improvement by developing, optimising, and standardising engineering processes, tools, and solution offerings to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Partner closely with customers and internal stakeholders to design solutions that meet technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
Provide technical leadership and support to internal teams, customers, partners, and installers, including onsite and remote assistance as required.
Support business operations through technical input into project costings, variations, tenders, quotes, customer training, and support activities.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing, international engineering team, fostering a collaborative culture aligned with company values and continuous improvement.
A Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Electronic Systems)
3-5 years experience leading engineering teams
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
Experience working with international or distributed teams
Strong practical mindset with a focus on system and process improvement
Solid troubleshooting and investigation skills across hardware and software
Good understanding of instrumentation and control systems
Experience using AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical and Vault highly regarded)
Strong computer, networking, and documentation skills
Ability to produce clear, concise technical reports
Valid driver’s licence
