Project Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist

We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Brisbane office in Albion works primarily in the renewable energy sector, providing site investigations on wind and solar farms across QLD and wider Australia. With their recent accreditation as a GE3 Geotechnical Engineering consultant with the Queensland Government Department of Transport and Main Roads, they are also establishing themselves as a local consultancy providing site investigation and design advice in the infrastructure space.

The team is seeking a geotechnical project manager to deliver these diverse projects. You'll work closely with our principal geotechnical engineers and geologists to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients. Equally, you'll support, develop, and oversee the junior staff as they build their career in the geotechnical space.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years experience in a geotechnical consultancy, with at least two years in Australia or New Zealand.
• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• CPEng, alternative relevant professional registration (AGS-Eng Aust, AusIMM, IPENZ Prof. Eng Geo) OR progressing formal application towards CPEng or relevant professional registration.
• Full Australian work rights (we are not able to offer sponsorship for this position)
• Experience training and developing junior engineers/geologists.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
