Project Manager

Our client URGENTLY requires a Project Manager for a 12 months + Contract in Darwin.

The Project Manager will provide project-management leadership and coordination for delivery of the project, reporting to a Program Director within the Digital Transformation Program. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating project streams, preparing project documentation, and supporting governance and stakeholder engagement.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a policing, law enforcement, or justice-sector environment, or on projects within such agencies.
• Demonstrated understanding of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, firearms legislation and related national agreements, including the National Firearms Agreement and relevant state and territory laws.
• Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly develop an understanding of, the National Firearms Register and its objectives to improve information sharing for law enforcement and enhance community safety.
• Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline and familiarity with policing or government data or case-management systems are desirable.

Government and/or policing, law enforcement or justice sector experience would be highly advantageous.
