Job Description - Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team (an industry leader) on an initial 6-month daily rate contract, in Melbourne. You will project manage a system implementation which is part of a wider business transformation program.

Key deliverables:

Accountable for the delivery of project (s) to deliver the agreed business outcomes.
Own delivery of design, development, testing through to implementation and deployment, ensuring the outcomes are aligned to the Program.
Support other project managers and business analysts to develop capability.
Ensure the resources are available to deliver the projects – people, systems and financial.
Contribution to the development of systems, and processes to deliver operational excellence in cost, quality and business stakeholder satisfaction.
Provide detailed delivery schedule and associated resource plan/forecast to meet the overall project cost and schedule targets, including recovery plans if required.
Collaborate across the business stakeholders to ensure that customer impact is considered while delivering all projects or programs of work.

Key Skills Required:

Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management positions.
Strong track record of successfully delivering IT related projects, system implementation experience would be ideal.
Must have experience working in complex transformational environments.
Must have prior experience software/ ERP implementation projects.
Experience in large global organizations using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers.
Experience across a broad range of Project Management tools that are available e.g. Jira, Confluence.
Must have excellent communication skills with demonstrated history of influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience in working with formal project governance.
