A bit about the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled Project Manager to join the our team based in Perth, Gold Coast or Sydney to help deliver a core banking migration.
You will have a solid background in Project Management, ideally developed within the banking and financial services or strongly regulated industries. You will also have demonstrated expertise in delivering and installing both technology and business solutions. Most importantly, you will have the ability to work collaboratively and develop relationships with stakeholders.
What you will bring
- 10+ years’ relevant experience in the successful delivery of projects and managing large-scale organisational change
- Previous banking or financial services experience
- Project experience in core banking systems, and payments projects is essential with data warehouse projects is an advantage but not required
- Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects whilst considering competing priorities
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to thrive under pressure and meet multiple, conflicting deadlines
- A team player, with the ability to work autonomously, who displays leadership qualities and can handle managing small internal teams
- A proactive approach and a problem-solving attitude with an understanding of identifying and reporting of any risk and/or compliance related issues
- Experience working with and managing delivery partners including technology partners
- Tertiary Level Qualification in Project Management or equivalent related discipline
- Industry certifications or strong equivalent demonstrated experience using Agile or Prince 2 methodology

- Creating and managing project plans
- Defining project schedules, allocating resources and monitoring progress
- Aligning project objectives with company goals, and making sure the project team is clear on objectives
- Delivering and installing solutions (technology and business)
- Helping the project team with the design and development tasks
- Leading the process of issue identification and resolution
- Managing the risk tracking process
- Monitoring and managing project scope
- Managing all project documentation
- Working on multiple projects within the company’s project portfolio simultaneously
- Fostering partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors.
