Project Manager (ICT Shared Services Transition)

• $95 - $125 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate

Our client, a newly formed Government Organisation, whose focus in to project Australia's natural environment and heritage sites as well as our response to climate change and water / energy resources, are Seeking the experience of a Project Manager (ICT Shared Services Transition) for long 12+12+12 month contract, based in Canberra, ACT.

Duties of the ICT Project Manager

• Manage an ICT services transition project from the current shared service model to a service fully managed internal system.
• Day-to-day operations of resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task coordination, and meeting project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Monitor, track, and report on the status of project/program deliverables.
• Ensure schedules, costs, and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans.
• Track, monitor, and report against project financials.
• Identify and resolve issues.
• Provide a range of administrative and project/program support services to facilitate the delivery of outcomes with relevant stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience delivering ICT projects and administering and coordinating a range of project activities.
• Familiarity with Federal Government ICT.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including non-technical senior managers.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers and other subject-matter experts.
