Project Manager / Scrum Master - 24 month FTC - Rapid Progression

PM-Partners are seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master with experience leading software development projects using Agile ways of working for this 24 month Fixed Term Contract position. In this role you will be supporting a senior project manager overseeing multiple projects from a portfolio of innovation transformational work focused on uplifting our client with digital capability for patients, clinicians, and staff. 

As well as supporting a senior project manager, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of smaller projects within a wider program of work and will be relied upon drive drive build squads in the development of components needed for site readiness across 75 hospitals.

Location: 3 days on-site St Leonard's Sydney office, 2 days WFH flexibility

Duration: ASAP start, 24 month Fixed Term Contract

Fixed Term Salary: $150K - $160K including super

To be considered for this position you will have experience and strengths in the following: 

• 3+ Years, delivery focused Project Management experience
• Certification and practical experience as a Scrum Master driving software build squads
• Strong Agile delivery experience
• Strong applications, web, software projects experience
• Strong fundamental senior project coordination skills and willingness to support a senior PM with whatever is needed
• Experience in the health sector
  • Experience working with health applications, medical platforms, and systems integration (highly desirable).
• Experience of end-to-end project lifecycles in a structured environment. 
• Ability to manage the work of a project team to agreed outcomes, in line with relevant governance approaches and tools
• Experience of working with sponsors, product owners and systems experts in greenfield or early concept environments.
• Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, etc..
• Experience in direct communication with senior management and the project governance authorities (Business Sponsor, project board, steering committee, etc.) 
• Experience with negotiating with users, technical staff, and product owners to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong vendor management experience and skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with customer’s operations, engineering and architecture teams, and build relationships with key customer stakeholders, and become a trusted advisor. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, project scope, budget and timelines effectively
• Comfortable being the senior key escalation point for project risk and issues 
• Ability to manage and mentor junior direct reports
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
