Project Manager - Urgent Hire

About the role: 
We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a background in project and construction management, specifically within security infrastructure projects to join our Federal Government client on a Labour Hire basis. Candidates must have strong project delivery skills, an understanding of security measures in building projects, and the ability to manage projects locally and remotely.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and motivate the project team.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Manage project schedule and budget.
• Integrate stakeholders throughout the project phases.
• Liaise with project customers, stakeholders, and governance bodies.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage project scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee design and documentation through all project phases.
• Handle project variations and change control.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate with stakeholders.
• Establish project administration systems and document control.
• Manage project costs and ensure quality standards.
• Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
• Maintain and report on project schedule progress.
• Manage risk management processes and contingency plans.
• Coordinate handover and completion activities.
• Ensure compliance with legislative obligations.

Required Skills: 

• Experience in delivering construction and physical security infrastructure projects.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and develop project briefs.
• Experience in procuring consultants and contractors.
• Review design documentation for security compliance.
• Conduct site visits and develop statements of work.
• Draft contract work orders and monitor budgets.

Additional Information:

The Project Manager will be required to travel domestically and internationally to project sites as per the schedule.
