Specializing in delivering solutions in the Transport and Water sectors, we partner exclusively with government clients to drive delivery. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a motivated Project Officer to assist delivering projects throughout the region.

Role Summary

As a Project Officer, you will support our project leads in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects across the region. You will be exposed to a variety of projects and will manage work packages. This role requires you to work independently, often embedded within client teams, and involves site work at various locations within South East Queensland. A 4WD vehicle will be provided for travel to and from project sites. This role is ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors and a dynamic work environment, offering a unique opportunity to develop essential project management skills while contributing to meaningful projects that enhance public infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans.
• Work independently, embedded within client teams, to facilitate project execution.
• Coordinate and communicate between project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of expectations, timelines, and requirements.
• Conduct site visits and manage on-site project execution across South East Queensland.
• Prepare necessary documentation, like status reports and final project reports.
• Support the project team in administrative tasks and project tracking.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience or understanding of design and construction processes is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a high degree of initiative.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and comfort with driving a 4WD vehicle.
• Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and an adaptable lifestyle.
