Project Quality Engineer - Get Hired Fast

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In conjunction with other members of the QA function and in support of the PD function when introducing new products:
  • Engage in risk reduction activities through implementation of DFMEA & PFMEA.
  • Deliver Quality Control coverage for new projects through:
    • Part Inspection Standards
    • Quality sign-off engineering drawings
    • Control Plans
    • Measurement Systems Analysis
    • Development of Standard Work (for Assembly and Quality tasks)
    • Selection and introduction of Inspection equipment
    • Service kit development
    • Review of supplier PPAP submissions
    • Compilation of customer PPAP documentation
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications in Quality / Mechanical / Precision Engineering or relevant industrial experience. 
• Possess knowledge of automotive products and associated manufacturing processes.
• Possess knowledge and experience with quality management systems, automotive quality systems, lean manufacturing, six sigma, etc.
• Problem solving & root cause analysis experience.
• Internal auditing experience / qualifications is desirable.
• Possess excellent written & oral communication and project management skills.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
