Project / Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist

We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate Geotech professionals, providing quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, mining and energy sectors.

Our Sydney team, based in North Ryde is looking to bring on an experienced geotechnical engineer. Ideally, we would like someone competent in leading small and large-scale projects as well as delivering both temporary works and permanent works design packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with the technical team to develop, provide and promote design solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of our work
• Ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards
• Maintaining good relationships with existing clients and working with the client relations/business development team to target new opportunities

Qualifications/Experience/Attributes

• Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 3+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consulting environment.
• Good analytical skills and prior knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)
• Have proven experience when it comes to design delivery of complex projects
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Current Australian drivers license
• Full Australian working rights with an least two years of local experience.
• Combination of office-based and field-based work, ability to travel
