What is the role?

We currently have an opportunity for a full time Promotions Coordinator in South Wharf Melbourne, (Melbourne Support Office). The Promotions Coordinator role includes promotions, pricing and meeting category objectives, maintaining the consistency of brand and promotional themes and ensuring the successful execution of in store promotions ensuring promotions are keyed and communicated to stores accurately and within the required time frames. It is also accountable for ensuring that products are featured correctly in the catalogue (nationally) including images, price points, saves and unit of measure.

 The position will responsible for (but not limited to):

• Keying and maintaining promotions into an internal system
• Prepare direct and promotional sheets for the weekly advice to stores
• Send direct and promotional sheets weekly to stores and ensure accuracy of promotional advice
• Ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met
• Communicating with stores both verbally and in writing in a timely manner
• Building strong working relationships within the FoodWorks Support Office

Applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• Analysis –effectively promote the FoodWorks promotions program by supporting the FoodWorks brand and business initiatives.
• Business Acumen - assist with the development and implementation of creative output that truly reflects FoodWorks’ overall strategy and delivers on the business’s objectives.
• Supplier Management – demonstrated ability to build and sustain viable relationships with agencies and suppliers.
• Time management – the ability to set priorities, plan and organise one's own responsibilities and commitments
• Relationship Management – the ability to work within a team environment and across different parts of the business to deliver performance results in a demanding and challenging environment. The ability to build effective working relationships with all colleagues, retailers and suppliers.
• Interpersonal style – positive, energetic and team focused. Able to build trust and confidence of others through personal credibility and ground action
• Work style – organised with the ability to respond to change and work flexibly within the business
• Tertiary level education – Business, Marketing or Accounting is desirable
• Qualifications:
  Tertiary level – Business, Marketing or Accounting is desirable.
  Knowledge and Experience:
   Minimum 2 years experience in supermarket and grocery environment gained in either at a store or supplier level.
   Exposure to independent retailers.
