Pronto Support Specialist (ICT) - Urgent Role

The Big River Group is a publicly listed company with over 120 years in the timber and building supplies industries. We are currently seeking a Pronto Support Specialist to provide expertise and support to the BRG Pronto ERP platform. 

Your Role 

As a Pronto Support Specialist, you will be a key member of the ICT Pronto ERP team, responsible for:

• Technical Support: Resolving technical issues and assisting end-users with Pronto software.
• System Configuration: Customizing Pronto software to meet business needs and collaborating with stakeholders.
• System Upgrades and Maintenance: Executing system upgrades, monitoring performance, and addressing issues.
• ERP Migrations: Facilitating ERP migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruptions.
• Training and Documentation: Developing training materials, conducting sessions, and maintaining documentation.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting testing to ensure the software meets functionality, performance, and security standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on technological advancements and identifying opportunities for system enhancements.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Pronto Support Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of the Pronto software platform, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in performing ERP migrations, preferably with Pronto or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Pronto Xi Applistructure Tools.
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Certifications or training in Pronto software administration or related fields are a plus.

Please note: Candidates without Pronto experience need not apply.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Cognos, preferably the ability to develop Cognos Reports within the Pronto Xi environment.
• Experience in finance, warehousing, retail/point of sale, and inventory control in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
