Property Accountant - Hiring Now

This is an exciting opportunity for a Property Accountant to join a well-established real estate company. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder management within the Retail Property Accounting team.

• Salary package up to $120k including Super and bonus
• 12- month FTC
• Sydney CBD

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting results for retail properties
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and monitor ongoing expense benchmarking
• Calculate annual outgoings adjustments, liaising with major tenants for approval and providing necessary documentation
• Prepare information for audits, including outgoings, statutory, and trust audits
• Prepare outgoing estimates for tenants on an annual basis
• Prepare variance analysis commentary for monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
