The Place for Talent
About the opportunity:
Play a key role in driving Charter Hall’s portfolio performance, owning the delivery of high-quality budgets, forecasts, valuations and strategic asset plans across a defined office portfolio. This role partners closely with Fund, Asset and Property Management teams to provide timely insights that inform investment decisions, optimise asset strategies, and support long-term value creation for our investors.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Drive portfolio performance through insight – Deliver quarterly and ad‑hoc property and fund reporting (e.g. occupancy, WALE, leasing activity, valuations), providing clear analysis and commentary that informs Executive and leadership decision-making.
- Own asset-level financial performance – Take ownership of internal valuations, forecasts and reforecasts, ensuring accuracy across NOI, CAPEX and valuations while directly influencing investment strategy.
- Shape long-term asset strategy – Partner with Fund, Asset and Property teams to deliver annual budgets and 10‑year strategic asset plans, supporting repositioning initiatives and value creation opportunities.
- Lead commercial and leasing analysis – Conduct detailed deal analysis (NPV, IRR, cashflow, scenario modelling) to optimise leasing outcomes and assess valuation impacts across the portfolio.
- Enhance efficiency and data capability – Contribute to system and process improvements, supporting data initiatives and driving more efficient, insight-led decision making across the business.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Future focused capabilities including self-awareness, resilience, agility and generosity.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, initiative and an ability to prioritise.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership of property data.
- Possess a high financial aptitude, commercial acumen, analytical skills and attention to detail so that the information provided to our business partners is accurate, timely and relevant.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a property-related analytical discipline (property analyst / valuations).
- Bachelor’s degree in property economics, commerce or related discipline.
- Strong commercial understanding of valuation drivers and leasing dynamics.
- Proficient in modelling and analysing leasing deals, property NOI forecasts and property valuations.
