Property Lawyer - Hiring Urgently

The Firm & The Role

Our client is long established commercial law firm. Due to growth, a strong pipeline of work and overall strategy, they are looking to hire an experienced property lawyer.

Our client is a stalwart in their space and lead the way in the areas of property and body corporate law as well as construction law with decades of experience behind them.

A flavour of the work, will include:

• off the plan developments
• land development, including subdivisions, covenants and easements
• general property advice e.g. advice on property planning, advice on property title structuring, advice on adverse possession, advice on compulsory acquisition
• providing advice on subdivision of properties, leases, licenses and easements
• drafting and interpreting strata by-laws
• providing advice on the compliance of by-laws
• providing advice on common property exclusive rights issues

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be an experienced property lawyer with at least 2 years pae
• Have strong technical skills as well as commercial nous
• Have excellent communication skills, able to foster strong client relationships
• Be a team player but also enjoy working independently
• Be highly organised and be able to manage competing deadlines
• Be enthusiastic, be pro-active and a self-starter
