About the role:

This is a varied and hands-on property role supporting Demant’s operations across the ANZ region. You’ll coordinate property leasing, contracts, utilities and property records, support contract negotiations, assist with clinic fit-outs, refurbishments and rebranding projects, and help ensure all required property licences, certificates and documentation are maintained and up to date. 

Key role responsibilities:

• Manage the ANZ property lease portfolio, acting as the key point of contact with landlords, agents, solicitors and other external stakeholders across leases, licences, renewals, options and terminations.


• Oversee property financial management, including monthly rent rolls, invoice approvals, accruals, annual property budgets, Opex and Capex expenditure, bank guarantees and insurance requirements.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and lease management systems, including MRI ProLease Express, lease registers, property databases and compliance records.


• Coordinate property projects including new sites, clinic refurbishments, rebranding, closures, relocations and site mergers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.


• Manage facilities, maintenance, contractors, procurement, tenders and service-level agreements, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and landlords and suppliers meet their contractual obligations.


• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support lease negotiations, property requirements, planning approvals, permits, statutory licences and compliance obligations.


• Prepare lease documentation, reports and performance updates, and provide support to the Leasing Manager and Head of Group Property as required.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in property, lease administration or facilities management, within a multi-site environment.


• Sound knowledge of commercial leases, renewals, options, terminations and property documentation.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with landlords, agents, solicitors and contractors.


• Experience managing property budgets, invoices, accruals and Opex/Capex expenditure.


• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage fit-outs, refurbishments and other property projects.


• A good understanding of property compliance, statutory requirements and facilities management obligations.


• Experience maintaining lease registers and property management systems; MRI ProLease experience would be highly regarded
