We are seeking an energetic Property Services Administrator to join our innovative team at Chemist Warehouse in Preston, Melbourne VIC.

As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently recruiting for Property Services Administrator to join our Property Services team based at our head office in Preston. This is a 6 month MAT leave contract with the possibility of an extension.

About the role
The role is primarily responsible for processing lease related payments, administration of other lease obligations and general lease compliance.        

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining lease database and retrieving data
  • Processing lease related payments 
  • Allocating, reconciling, and adjusting rents
  • Analysis and reconciliation of outgoings and disputes in respect of leasing costs and charges
  • Reviewing various Lease Agreements to identify tenancy requirements
  • Liaise with Account Department and other key stakeholders regards lease related payments.
  • Liaise with Finance Department regards auditing requirements
  • Liaise with Insurer regards insurance requirements under leases
  • Liaise with landlords in relation to lease matters in a timely manner
  • Administration responsibilities include managing incoming calls, emails and correspondence, recording diary notes.


The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Previous experience in accounting highly regarded
  • Previous exposure to property administration or commercial leases advantageous
  • Demonstrated strong mathematical skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated high-level administration and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products, preferably Excel
  • Work within a fast-paced environment demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. 
  • Demonstrate initiative drive and self-motivation in new situations and challenges. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
