Job Description

Join an iconic not-for-profit private Victorian health service, in a unique opportunity to lead a talented and dedicated team. In this Full-Time role based in our Geelong hospital, you will be working within Epworth Healthcare's Prosthesis Supply Team.

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient supply of prosthesis to meet the operational demands of the business. The role is accountable for inventory integrity and visibility, ensuring that effective controls are in place to record usage and arrange prompt replenishment of stock.

You will make an impact by:

  • Ensuring the safe, timely and efficient supply of prosthesis to operational and theatre staff.
  • Working closely with the Patient Revenue Team to ensure accurate invoicing of prosthesis items to health funds.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of items used in surgery.
  • Establishing robust processes and controls to minimise revenue leakage and stock loss.
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders (theatre staff and doctors).

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience, ideally 2+ years working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working with Prosthesis is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology.
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge and experience with a large ERP system (e.g. TechOne).
