About our Role

Join the Barminco team as a Pump Fitter and support our underground mining operations with an opportunity at our Hazelmere Workshop available in Western Australia for Perth based applicants only. In this role, you’ll play a key part in installing, maintaining, and repairing underground dewatering and service pumps ensuring effective water management and safe, continuous mining operations.

What will your day to day look like?

• Install, maintain, and repair underground dewatering and service pumps


• Monitor pump performance and respond to breakdowns and water management issues


• Conduct routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance


• Assemble and maintain pipework, valves, and associated fittings


• Work safely in an underground environment in line with site procedures


• Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to support continuous production

Our ideal candidate background includes

• Previous experience working as a Pump Fitter ideally with underground mining and/or dewatering experience. Exposure to challenge mono, flytgt submersible and/or centrifugal pumps will be highly regarded


• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent).


• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).
