Main purpose of the role:

The Purchasing & Admin Support Officer is responsible for processing purchase orders and invoices for software and hardware for CMTG customers and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. 

Through great communication, the Purchasing & Admin Support Officer ensures a great customer experience, with a smooth “purchase to installation” process.

The Purchasing & Admin Support Officer will also be required to assist with other areas of CMTG including the Service and Sales teams along with general administration duties.

Purchasing 

  • Placing orders for clients, and CMTG
  • Entering stock into inventory
  • Maintaining CMTG stock levels and completing monthly/end-of-year stock take
  • Invoicing orders to clients
  • Liaise with suppliers on ETA’s of orders
  • Liaise with Technical Account Managers relating to their customers order ETA / delivery times.
  • Take delivery of goods inward, and arrange onward transportation.
  • Resolve all shipping queries and pricing queries with suppliers.
  • Be an active part of the office accounts and administration team

Administration & Support 

  • Ensure that all standards, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Support the sales team with any quotes
  • Support the service team with first line phone calls and triaging of customer support requests.
