Purchasing and Supply Officer

DÓrsogna Limited is a nationally recognised food manufacturing company seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team located in Palmyra, WA

The Successful Applicant

Ideally the successful applicant will have extensive experience in a similar role and industry.  You will possess a desire to contribute to our strong, outcome focused team and along with this, you will be responsible for the following:

• Control and manage materials in all store areas.
• Ensure deliveries are on schedule and materials received are to specification.
• Ensure all purchases are from approved suppliers and that all materials meet our and food safety requirements.
• Troubleshooting purchasing and supply chain issues through high level of communication in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver integrated supply chain solutions and avoid risk of non-supply or delays to customers.
• Maintain the purchase order management system and report analysis so that it is up to date with direct Manager.
• Ensures good stock rotation and overseeing stock take of materials.
• Manage and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist stores team when required
• Other duties as directed by direct National Procurement Manager.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role in a Food Manufacturing Company - 
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Attention to detail
• Order Entry systems experience - ERP Exposure
• Organisational skills and an ability to plan
• Current drivers licence
• Current Forklift licence highly desirable
