Purchasing Officer

HOBAN is recruiting a Purchasing Officer for a warehouse located in St Marys. This Temp-Perm position offers an opportunity to join a national organisation that specialises in supplies spare parts for agricultural utilities.

Role Overview: This role is responsible for managing commercial Supply Chain and Supplier contracts within the organization.
*Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm*

Key Responsibilities:

• Review & negotiation of NDA's, commercial Terms & Conditions, Account Applications, and Quality Agreements
• Engage in supplier development and negotiation
• Review & evaluation, negotiation & execution of supplier contracts, terms and conditions, and Quality Agreements
• Record keeping, monitoring, and change management of supplier contracts
• Assist in contracts management practices, review and update of existing supplier agreements, schedule review cycles in line with central directive policies and procedures
• Provide support in relation to contract management enquires
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers
• Obtain and assess quotes consistent with the Company's approved supplier list
• Maintaining supplier portfolios and price lists
• Interact with internal departments, gather requirements throughout the business
• Ensure all HSE procedures are followed, and all incidents are reported accordingly

Requirements: To succeed in this role, we are seeking a self-motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a contracts administration role, along with SAP System experience and understanding. Advanced Excel Skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are also desired but not essential to apply.
