We are looking for experienced, imaginative & nurturing Early Childhood Educator superheroes who:

• have the imagination to transform a loose part into a fun and valuable learning tool

As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day… Through our play-based learning philosophy we are constantly reminded what a wonderous world we live in.  You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to a magician or gardener.  Of course you will still be responsible for all if the compliance based things like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children’s progress, routines and interests - but all while creating a safe supportive space where children thrive. 

Sparrow Early Learning Karana Downs is a beautiful 67 place centre offering four Reggio Emilia inspired rooms. We offer care with a warm, nurturing space for them to learn and grow. Our centre is located in a quiet street amongst local shops and a golf course. Our team is passionate about creating a unique environment where each child and their families have a sense of belonging within our Sparrow family.

What you’ll need:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Experience in being a pirate finding lost treasure, make potions and sing loudly with little people.
• Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current & Valid Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
