Quality Assurance Advisor

The Role

Orora's Cans business is growing! With rising demand across Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania, we've invested $140M into our Rocklea facility, ensuring we can continue to meet growing customer needs.

The Quality Assurance Advisor will support our Rocklea Can manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll assist with quality control and assurance activities, lead audit processes, and help drive continuous improvement to ensure the highest quality standards are met across the site.
The successful candidate will ideally work between 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (Mon-Fri), in line with other site team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the site's Quality and Food Safety systems, including HACCP and certifications.


• Conduct internal and external audits and lead the resolution of findings.


• Ensure effective implementation of site process and quality control plans.


• Oversee plant quality, including inspection systems and process control plans.


• Lead improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and production efficiency.

About You

• Diploma or Degree qualified with relevant experience


• Previous QA/QC experience and experience with completing audits


• Strong understanding of FMCG environments


• Proactive, eager to learn and ability to work autonmously


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders
