Join the QA team here at Youfoodz HQ as our Quality Assurance Officer today! This is an awesome opportunity to learn and develop under the guidance of some very experienced QA professionals in a fast paced, food manufacturing environment!
As the QA Officer you will facilitate and carry out on the floor QA verification activities and assist with continuous improvement.
You will…
- Monitor the verification activities of the Quality Controllers, including daily CCP audits, to ensure food safety and quality process requirements are met, and to highlight and address issues real time including raising corrective action reports for CCP breaches with QA officer.
- Systems and Continuous Improvement.
- Oversee general plant GMP, carry out GMP inspections and to ensure staff and facilities are compliant with the GMP policy at all times.
- Carry our pre operational checks post cleaning to ensure cleaning has been effective
- Raise corrective actions where major deviations from processes and procedures occur.
- Ensure issues are addressed real time, where possible.
- Report issues to Quality Manager daily through Handover Reports
- Carry out handover discussions with QC Officer on following shift
- Carry out training with production and packing staff as required
- Carry out other verification activities (including internal audits) as required
- Any other role as directed by management.
You have…
- Food Science/Technology Degree
- Cook Chill training
- Minimum 1 year food industry experience.
- HACCP training and basic knowledge of food safety principles.
- Practical competency with Microsoft office applications.
- Experience with planning & leading factory trials.

- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- Skilled at collaborating with stakeholders.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
