Quality Engineer

A fantastic opportunity awaits the suitable candidate to join one of Australia’s leading manufacturing companies that supply the civil construction and manufacturing market.

We require a full-time Quality Engineer to work with our in-house engineering team. The position will be based in Heathwood, Brisbane. The primary objective of the role is to monitor and ensure the quality of our precast manufacturing processes and outputs. Three years of industry experience in similar role is desirable. 

This role is available for an Immediate Start.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Manage internal audit process, including planning, conducting and reporting of audits. 
• Inspect and test products, materials and equipment to identify defects and quality issues.
• Identify root causes of non-conformances and coordinate corrective and preventative actions. 
• Ensure products and processes are compliant with relevant standards and authority specifications prior to delivery.
• Conduct training with internal staff.
• Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products.
• Manage and maintain the quality records related to all concrete product manufacturing

Key skills required;

• 3+ years' experience in quality engineering, quality control or similar roles. 
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Practical experience with precast manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
