Perth and Kinross Council is seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor within Property Services to work on a complex range of capital and revenue funded projects, support delivery of externally delivered projects and to assist the further rationalisation and adaptation of a large property estate.

Property Services provide multi-disciplinary professional services for the development and maintenance of a significant portfolio of public buildings including secondary, primary and nursery schools, residential homes, offices, day care facilities, civic buildings and other facilities; as well as some work on the council housing stock. The Service draws together all of the key elements of building operational management and construction, design and procurement.

Ideally applicants would have good experience in budgeting, billing, procurement, valuation of works, final accounts, claims advice, financial monitoring and projection, preparation of reports and partnership working with framework contractors and consultants. A Surveying degree is essential. You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
