React / .NET Developer

DWS is seeking a Software Engineer (React / .NET) to join a high-performing digital engineering team building modern, customer-facing platforms at scale. This role has a strong frontend focus, with React as the primary technology, while still contributing to backend services using C# / .NET. You'll work on responsive, high-traffic applications and collaborate closely across product, design and engineering.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing, building and enhancing React-based web applications
• Creating clean, reusable and high-performing UI components
• Collaborating with product, design and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Contributing to C# / .NET services where required
• Writing maintainable, scalable code aligned to engineering standards
• Participating in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement
• Troubleshooting, testing and optimising applications for performance and usability

You will bring:

• Very strong commercial experience with React, including hooks, component architecture and state management
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Solid working knowledge of C# / .NET (Core preferred)
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs
• Background working in Agile delivery environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Redux, Next.js or similar frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience working on high-traffic digital platforms
