Ready to hit the right note with someone who loves creativity?

We are seeking a social volunteer to spend time with a gentleman who enjoys music, writing and painting. They also have a small dog who loves gentle company. Your visits would involve relaxed conversation, creative chats, time spent listening to music together or simply keeping them company while their little dog potters about. One hour each week can bring companionship and connection to their day.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older â¢ National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare â¢

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for an hour visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
