THE OPPORTUNITY

Based in Brisbane's beautiful bayside is a well-established practice with a longstanding history in the accounting industry. They have strong relationships with their clientele and pride themselves on their customer service and family friendly environment. 

Currently they are seeking an experienced Client Services Administrator to join their growing team of multi-discplinary professionals. This is a new and exciting opportunity to join a progressive, multi-office firm, close to home!

You would be undertaking a varied position, where no day will look the same and if you enjoy building relationships and are looking to develop your career within this space, this role could be perfect for you. 

THE ROLE

You will be providing administration support to the firm’s Partners, and team of Accountants. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Regularly liaising with ATO & ASIC and utilising portals.
  • Maintain contact with clients and liaise with them on behalf of accountants or executives
  • Manage and update the client database as needed
  • Collation and preparation of documents for clients and/or tax returns
  • Diary management 
  • Assist an accounting team
  • Reception duties and other ad-hoc administrative tasks such as, answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing meeting rooms, etc.

ABOUT YOU
  • Previous experience working in a public practice firm or similar professional services environment.
  • Knowledgeable utilising Xero or willing to learn. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and personable attitude. 
  • Able to work well autonomously and within a team.
