We are a well-established and reputable accounting firm based in Greenslopes, Queensland. We provide a range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to individuals and businesses across various industries.

We are looking for a reception/admin assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, as well as providing administrative support to our accountants and directors.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answering and directing phone calls and emails
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings
  • Preparing and sending correspondence, invoices, and reports
  • Maintaining and updating client records and databases
  • Assisting with ATO lodgements and queries
  • Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment
  • Performing other general office tasks as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an accounting firm
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software preferably Xero
  • A friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A strong work ethic and initiative
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the firm
