Loreto College is seeking an experienced College Receptionist, who is able to offer the highest standards of professionalism to the members of our college community. This role is a full-time, term-time plus four (4) weeks position, working thirty-eight (38) hours per week between the hours of 8.00am to 4.06pm. Term time being when the students are in attendance, plus two (2) weeks before the commencement of Term 1 and two (2) weeks following the end of Term 4.
The position is Level 4 in the “School Officers” structure as set out in the Catholic Employing Authorities Single Enterprise Collective Agreement.

As the College Receptionist, you will be responsible for:
• Attending to the main reception desk - welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries
• Being a respresentative of the College, ensuring all interactions are to the highest professional standards
• Facilitating the distribution of both electronic and traditional communication that comes through the Reception channels, ensuring this is handled with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining accurate records of all visitors to the College, assisting to ensure the correct processes are followed when checking in
• Overseeing and maintaining the public areas of Administration at all times
• Assisting with student Tours and Event administration
• Assisting with administration tasks for the College Leadership Team, if required
• Collaborating with staff and stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, specifically OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft Word, Copilot and Microsoft Excel is highly desired, as is a candidate who always maintains a standard of professional presentation. Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is advantageous.
