From majestic marble monuments to beautiful granite memorials and headstones, our craftsmanship speaks for itself (and so do our satisfied clients!). We create custom memorials for families of all cultures and beliefs. We have been supporting Melbourne families for over 30 years and working with cemeteries throughout Victoria.
We’re a tight-knit team with a passion for making memories that last forever.
We are now looking for a Receptionist and Admin Support replacement for a short term stint as an annual leave cover. It will be approximately a 9-week temporary position beginning in early July through to September 6, 2024.
THE ROLE
As our Receptionist and Admin Support, you’ll be the first friendly face our clients see and the cheerful voice they hear. You’ll manage client appointments and assist our Memorial Consultants in collating all the necessary documents to get memorial works on their way. You’ll liaise with the cemeteries with work with, making sure we have the correct information before the orders are started.
You'll also collaborate closely with our team, ensuring client orders smoothly navigate through every department – from Sales, Production & Design, and even Finance.
In addition to the sales focus, we’ll rely on you to run the office, making sure the kitchen is stocked and the stationery cupboard is full.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Greet customers with a smile and a friendly hello.
- Answer phones and field inquiries like a pro.
- Coordinate bookings for the sales team.
- Help clients navigate their options and assist with sales.
- Keep our office running like a well-oiled machine
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude even when the coffee machine breaks.
ABOUT YOU
- Organised and extremely detail-oriented (you can spot a typo from a mile away).
- Be well presented with a personality that is sensitive and suited to the nature of our business.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to speak a European second language will be advantageous.
- A team player who’s ready to jump in and help wherever needed.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or sales admin role is a plus
