The Opportunity
This firm are seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator, who has at least 2 years' experience working in an accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be interested in the industry, and somebody who is eager to learn as much as possible. This is a busy role, so you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities will include: - Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering phones
- Liaising with clients in regards to any general queries
- Preparation, co-ordination and processing of ASIC Company Statements including invoicing and minutes
- Processing of all ASIC lodgements, including company registrations, shares transfers, shareholders, company address and name updates, de-registrations, minutes and share certificates
- ATO Lodgements
- Client correspondence
- Scanning, emailing, filing
- General office support duties
About You - Must have at least 2 years' experience in administration within an accounting practice
- Experience using ASIC is highly regarded
- Have experience using MYOB, ASIC & ATO portals
- Be familiar with ASIC forms and requirements
- Have exceptional customer service skills and a positive "can do attitude"
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong administration skills
