Our firm is an exciting fast-growing boutique Tax and Advisory firm. We specialise in individual and small to medium businesses, and proudly operate across two locations in Sydney.

Our Sydney CBD firms are renowned for the expertise, professionalism and committed service we provide. As a result of continued growth, we are excited to welcome a new team member at our Sydney CBD office. 

About the role

This a seasonal role which requires following work hours:

From Jul 24 - Oct 24:  30~38 hour per week across 4~5 days

Permanent PT / FT role may also be available for suitable candidates. 

The responsibilities and duties of the successful applicant will include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients, attending to incoming phone calls, managing ingoing/outgoing mail correspondence, banking, scanning, filing and arranging coffees for visitors
  • Managing all things to do with ASIC, including preparation and lodgement of various forms
  • Managing emails and scheduling appointments for accountants
  • Monitoring and purchasing of staff amenities and stationary
  • Maintaining and attending to the general cleanliness of the kitchen, reception and board rooms
  • Liaising with clients in a professional, etiquette manner including liaising with the ATO and ASIC both via phone, mail and email correspondence
  • Preparing and processing payment and invoices, reconcile daily EFTPOS transactions
  • Other ad hoc services as required by the team

Skills and experience

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a smart and presentable appearance.
  • Attention to detail is critical 
  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written forms
  • Proficient use of MS Excel, Word and Outlook is essential 
  • Completed or studying towards accounting or bookkeeping qualification is preferred
  • Some relevant experience in public accounting firm as a receptionist is desirable
  • Professional and bubbly approach to work and clients
  • Ability to multitask with integrity and to use own initiative
