Receptionist/Customer Service Officer - Generous Compensation

About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated Receptionist/Customer Service  at our Brendale premises. The ideal candidate possesses a cheerful demeanour, is physically fit, eager to learn and detail oriented. They should take pride in their work, communicate effectively, demonstrate reliability, and have a can-do team-orientated attitude.

The right candidate will be able to work: 
• Full-time in office Monday to Friday
• Hours 8.30am to 4.45pm
• Start immediately. We're open to applicants who can start now or in mid June.

Skills & Experience 
• 2 years of prior customer service experience, with references, required. 
• Proficiency in touch typing and a willingness to learn.
• Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. We offer full training in our procedures. 
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and solve problems.  
• Self-motivated and pro-active with a can-do team-orientated attitude.
• Reliable and personable. 
• Current and valid Driver’s License with own reliable car.

Tasks & Responsibilities 
• Answer and transfer incoming calls, greet & sign in customers. 
• Managing incoming and outgoing emails. 
• Maintain our showroom and sample storage. 
• Providing support to warehouse operations. 
• Prepare and send mailings.
• Assist with website maintenance. 
• Update the marketing database. 
• Entering and processing orders after training.
• Fill in for CSOs in absences.
