Job Description - Recruitment Consultant

    • A fantastic opportunity has just opened up to take over a Blue-Collar temp desk with an excellent and loyal client base. This is a warm desk with active candidates and clients providing regular work with scope to grow further. If you're driven and looking for a role where the foundations are in place to build a high performing desk, lets have a chat. Your key responsibilities will include:
    • Managing a busy temp desk
    • Business development and organically growing existing clients
    • Building sustainable long term client and candidate relationships
    • Sourcing and interviewing candidates and proactively marketing them into businesses
    • Working collaboratively with the Brisbane team and the wider IPA network
    To be successful you will need:
    • A proven ability to identify, win and develop new business/accounts
    • A history of achieving budgets and targets - both professionally and personally
    • A fire in your belly and a hunger to succeed
    • Corporate presentation and communication
    • Exceptional communication skills
    To be considered for this role, you must have a friendly nature with the ability to engage with people of all levels and backgrounds. You must be able to work well under pressure and to tight time-lines and have the capacity to prioritise your own work load.


    This role is perfect for someone already in recruitment with a good understanding of the blue-collar space. Equally open to hearing from people coming from other industries, looking to make a mark in recruitment. The main things we're looking for is someone with a good attitude, ability to build relationships and work in a team.
