Job Description - Recruitment Specialist - Intern

Hands-on practical internship with our recruitment and placement team based in Sydney and Melbourne specializing in ICT specialists assisting in placements clients such as State Govt agencies and large ASX listed enterprises. You will be get to understand the overall job market for permanent and contract market across major cities in Australia, the use of specialist tools by recruiters including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, and various recruitment and placement processes.

As an intern, you will be learning directly from our experienced recruiters to support in activities such as:

Screening applicants
Shortlisting candidates
Assist in reference and background checks
Assist in interviews with the hiring teams; and actively monitoring the interview loop
support preparation for compensation and benefits package
Conduct VEVO checks and other VISA related checks
Assist in evaluating culture fit, and other behavioral competencies

Requirements

An ideal intern candidate is someone who has a strong passion to grow into a professional recruiter with a strong interest to specialize in the ICT roles in Australia. You must be proactive and willing to learn. This is perfect for a final year student in the HR field with NO experience.

Benefits

This is an unpaid internship. There are also part-time casual opportunities applicable for productive work. This internship is ideally also part of Work-Integrated-Learning (WIP) in collaboration with your University.
