Duties include:

• Performing installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, refrigeration maintenance, aircon & all electrical systems.
• This involves interpreting electrical code specifications, meeting safety codes, and working with vendors & carrying out deep cleaning of all aircons & reefers on site.
• Responsible for all site maintenance and electrical inspections / repairs as instructed by the Client and / or FM Supervisor via work order system.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical equipment
• Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Perform computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical systems
• Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area
• Work with electrical contractors and outside vendors to obtain quotes and proposal for electrical work
• Recommend supplies and equipment for purchase and maintain the inventory of equipment and supplies
• To complete and record regular inspections and tagging of electrical equipment when requested.
• To maintain equipment, including washing machines, kitchen equipment and all other electrical equipment within the village grounds.

The following (current) prerequisite training requirements apply to this role: 

• Electrical Tradespersons License
• MSIC
• LV CPR
• BOSIET w/CAEBs
• Police clearance
• Cert 3 In Air Conditioning and Refrigeration UEE32211
• C class Drivers Licence

You will be required to undertake and successfully complete a site-specific medical including drug & alcohol screening, induction, permit to work training, competent electrical person and isolating authority as per site access requirements.
