Job Description - Regional Administration Officer - Gold Coast

About the Role:

This role is responsible for providing proactive administrative support and advice to SLSQ South Coast Branch and Clubs. It is also responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the Gold Coast Region Office. This is an office based role in West Burleigh.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meeting reminders, agenda and notes for ALL meetings of SLSQ South Coast Branch Boards, Committees, Panels and Sub Committees.
  • Carry out and implement all decisions of the Committees of SLSQ South Coast Branch (Council, Executive and Sport.
  • Identify gaps in administration and liaise with the Branch Executive Committee to implement necessary systems and supportive mechanisms to address gaps.
  • Prepare Annual Circular to Clubs in relation to Annual Requirements to the Branch/SLSQ/Government.
  • Maintain relationships with Branch and Club office bearers and provide necessary support in their roles.
  • Organise Maintenance for Gold Coast Office – cleaning, trades and quotes.
  • Council audits and regulations.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Working With Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain one).
  • High level of Office Management experience.
  • Ability to communicate with a number of key stakeholders.
  • Working autonomously.
  • Ability to organise and delegate tasks.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft suite of products.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Surf Life Saving structure, policies, procedures and operations.
